Criminal Defense
Ms. Sunday practices only in the area of criminal defense, with an emphasis in serious felonies and trial work. With over 100 jury trials she has tried most types of crimes at least once, and a number of them many times over. While no trial attorney wins all her cases, Ms. Sunday's success rate reflects a love of trial work and many years honing her skills. Indeed, she has taught advanced trial advocacy as an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego Law School since 1992 and has taught trial skills at the Institute for Criminal Defense Advocacy, a national trial college for attorneys from around the country, located in San Diego. She was awarded the Trial Arttorney of the Year Award from the Criminal Defense Bar Association in 1998.
